customize player identity in game

More diverce customizing game play(i.e. charator indavidul identaty.)

After play your game i found idavidual identaty limited to player name, race and/or faction.
The only outward changes were a few ship vaients and alittle color on the hull of the ship.
I my self could see a need for improvement in this area. One thing that may add some alure
to the game would be an outword texture to ships with different armor it added. This would
give possablity of an oganic or mecha feel to ships appeal. You could for example imply
geometric or reptile scaling to give this effect. Multi coloring too can also give more diverceity
for a indivdual apperence. A second adaptation can be applied to the game would be weapon
astetice apperence outwardly as you add and remove them. This in it self would give a great way
to enhance the individual identity to each player expireance in the game. Thease are just a few
small but dramatic changes that may intice existing player and as well as attract new players to
this mmo for future enjoyment.

Pro tip: enable spell-check. Yes, I realize you probably are not a native English speaker, and your English is much better than my Japanese or Spanish, but spell-check is your friend. Do not shun your friend. :)

As to the actual content of your post: Yes, I agree. There are bigger fish to fry, but I definitely would love to eventually see more ability to personalize ships.

Player identity in VO is a lot more diverse then you think. Instead of the game enforcing specific roles and classes or providing superficial cosmetic decorations, your character's identity is defined by what you do and say, and who you associate with.

Visually small maybe, but I have a feeling that doing any of that would take re-working of the textures, reworking of the base code, creation of models and textures for the different weapons, which would take a LOT of work.

There's also what abortretryfail said.

That being said,however, I'm all for a bit more personalization down the line. Maybe primary and secondary custom colors first.
