I'm only half serious with this suggestion as I'm not sure how balanced it would be, but think it would be fun to have.

Create a new large port weapon type. Require it to take two large ports. Weapon fires seekers. Limit 3. 10 second firing delay. Requires full battery for launch.

Aerna Seekers? They're actually bots, not weapons (ships that fly close to you and then suicide on themselves). We don't have any mechanics for firing bots at present. But that would be interesting.
