Let me start it out :)

in the "Skirmishes" section, split out the "Participants" by nationality. Mark nationality by color.

"S | I | U" or just "S | I" by which nation's military the participant was fighting for.

right now it just shows total participants, it would be much more useful to see participants on each side. Having 6 participants, but all of them itani, is much less exciting then 4 participants but 2 on each side ;)

not a bad idea, you can click the skirmish to see everyone at the moment at least but this would be good for just glancing over it

As far as I'm concerned, you can get rid of the duration column as the data is pretty meaningless. Unless perhaps you start timing it from the point the first player takes the mission, and even then, if they abort, the time may be skewed beyond something meaningful.

On my wish list, would be to create a highlighted section of any active skirmishes.

Also, please redo the sorting so that the most recent skirmishes are at the top rather than the bottom.

and a map! Let's see a nice red & blue checkerboard map at the top of the page for those of us who get bored with charts, with a scoreboard of sectors held by each side! Maybe a F, S, M, L, B on each sector showing which type of skirmish each was, and highlights on currently contested sectors that you can click on to see casualty counters! and and and... A PONY!!!

I still think the list should be replaced with an interactive map to get a visual that's more consistent with what's in-game. You could click on each sector to drill down to each skirmish's details.

Hmm, i wonder if that could be done with all client-side javascript...
