As this is already tracked as seen in NPC's such as the CTC event, I don't see why we can't track it for players.
Could be a new set of badges associated with it :)

Good idea, I had mentioned a Deneb stat for this in my recent Deneb stats thread but it makes sense to also have it globally to improve group combat recognition

Yeah... I'd brought up something like this as well (as have, lots of folk I would imagine.) a year or so ago... it would help flesh out aspects of Deneb and help newbs feel like they accomplished something.
