I noticed if you're not in their sector (probably because the sector isn't active, no one is in it) and you try to message them about bounties and whatnot, that the game shows they are not online even though you know they are there (they weren't killed). Anyway way to work around this? Kind of annoying to have to travel 5 or 6 systems to get an update on the bounties. Maybe create another way to post them?

Yeah, seems you can only message the bot if you are in the same sector as it, silly really. BLAK used to have a bot sat in Dau L-10 just so we didn't have to keep flying there should we feel like hunting silly VPR who killed rats at stations. So if it's intended to make it harder to hunt, well, it doesn't because it's not like it's hard to get around.

Also (like we found with the BLAK bot) if the Marshal dies, you have to go back and find out their new name. I mean, there is wonderful Lua access now, so that should be easier if someone was to set up a bounty bot. But we shouldn't have to set up any bots.

So yeah, more a bug in my opinion, maybe it's one of those AI things (I don't think you can PM hive if not in same sector either) so maybe a new way should be made up.

Hmm that would be useful. Or maybe make a specific channel answer [bounties]

I don't think that Marshalls should provide location information at the universe level.
