Repair module updates

Oct 02, 2011 pirren link
1. Make Aeolus light repair module grid 2, instead of 4.
Then pilots will start use it with widowmaker and anni.

2. Make Aeolus light repair module weight 1000, instead of 1200. Or make another one variant with less charges and less weight.

For example:
Aeolus light repair module mk2
Weight: 1000 (original 1200)
Charges: 15 (original 20)

3. Make Repair Module mk2 weight 1500, instead of 2400. This update will make it possible to run this rep gun on medium class ships.

4. Change charges type in Repair module mk1 and mk2, so they hit and look like devastator canon charges, not rail gun.

-1 for rep shots looking like a devastator. And I'd say they look more like Mega Posi shots currently than rail gun.

I really don't see the point. Feels like it would be more of a gimmick rather than something useful... Although the one interesting side effect is people could prevent the repair swarms from reaching an opponent by flying into them. On the other hand, it would allow you to repair yourself. -1

If there were to be a new type of repair module, my vote would be for an Adv Repair Module with no auto-aim. It would have a higher velocity and either have additional ammo or repair a greater amount to compensate for the greater difficulty of its use. I'm sure I'd be terrible at using it, but I'd at least be willing to invest some time in learning.

The high auto-aim of the existing modules makes them practically useless at long ranges, even for stationary targets. Plus the auto-aim induced inaccuracy makes vets that are highly adept at dodging difficult to hit in combat repairs (even with turning A/A off). Those are two situations where the Adv Repair Module could be more useful.
