And I think you and GS have both failed to consider that a twitch combat-centric space flight sim is a pretty shitty match for tablet devices--unless there's a big market out there for frustrating games that ensure you die instantly on those rare occasions you meet another player.

There are in fact a lot of people who play VO who do not engage in PVP if they can at all help it, and die easily even with a PC. I don't understand how they consider that playstyle fun, but they do. I know there are many who would have just as much trouble understanding how I can find reading and programming fun, so I just accept it. Besides, more helpless tablet players means more prey, and more potential minions.

Despite your points lecter (which personally I agree with) the droiders do seem to be happy, so they are probably mining or trading

and there are always a couple droiders online who chime in the moment you mention an android

-Deneb to not get fucked up on server restarts
-Teradons and connies not to endlessly duel into space in Deneb
-War convoy fighters to actually engage targets
-Weird group mingling with other npc missions in the universe to stop
-NPC missions to not get all fucked up or disappear if the server has been running more than 7 days
-Guilds to not get disbanded without warning if a vote fails to complete
-CtC bots to gather endlessly in a sector if a player is idle or spaced
-Keys to be able to be deleted so I don't have a septillion of them in my keychain gathering dust

and so on before I see capship or droid updates, even just pick 2 from the list and I'll go back to telling people off when they start these kinds of threads and return to being glad the devs are showered with business opportunities. But I need a little to give a little first

I'm not saying there aren't any Android users - the Devs could make a game that shocks your balls every 30 seconds and some people out there would think it was great - just that they're not much of a market for VO.
