Jump point / worm hole animation
I've only been playing the game for about a week, but already I feel like I've watched the jump-point and worm-hole animations about a billion times. Every time the animation is left-to-right, and to be honest it's getting really boring. I'm not a programmer so I don't actually know, but I think it must be not too difficult to make it so that the jump-point animation is shown from right-to-left, or forward-from-above, or forward-from-below, or even backward from the jump point to the craft. Looking at the game, it seems like the animation is a flying camera set at a defined distance and position from the craft - is it possible for that camera to get a little creative and move around once in a while?
Get over it.
Ignore lelector... and try the animatedload plugin:

He's not talking about the loading screen Alloh. He's talking about the part just after pressing activate where the camera zooms out and shows your ship travelling into the warp (or dying, as the case may be).
I agree, throwing some randomness into the camera position/velocity would be a good thing.

I have to agree with Pizzasgood - this change would add a nice change to the game.

Well actually, when it comes to programming, "mirror imaging"/flipping the calculation of ship coming out of wormhole should be a matter of changing few parameters in 3D vector calculation. So few lines of code at most.

Yeah exactly. The total lacks of randomness is nothing good. Everything is predictable.

Generally when it comes to faster-than-light travel, Star Trek has went where no one has gone before...

Of course, this will never get implemented in vendetta, but it's nice to get sentimental sometimes.

Actually PoL, from what I've heard that's the way it used to work. Well, the speeding off into nothingness part at least. I don't know if they did streaking stars.

Well, speeding into nothingness is the less important part.
The streaking star is what makes this effect cool ;)
