turret targeting range.

There has been a lot of talk about station conquest in this thread- http://www.vendetta-online.com/x/msgboard/1/24474 - about redoing certain parts of the station mechanics. I think one of the easiest solutions to implement would be to nerf the targeting range of the station turrets down to around 1500 meters so you do not constantly have to dodge all 8 turrets. This would allow for attackers to use fighters against the people repping turrets and give defensive side something else to do besides sitting there reping turrets and trying to shoot bombers. I would also support missile turrets being taken out to aide in creating a more traditional pvp enviroment

The missile turrets and capgauss turrets are there in order to create a non-traditional pvp environment. There's plenty of "traditional" pvp environments in VO. All you have to do is go to B-8 or ask someone to duel.

You can attack reppers with a fighter. It's just hard, and you have to dodge fire. It's similar to flying a fighter in border skirmishes. Try it some time.

In station conquest, as with border skirmishes, expect to get blown up a lot if you want to get things done.

this isn't to prevent getting blown up it is suggesting ways to make station conquest more fun. there has been much discussion in other threads about how there needs to be more roles then bomber and healer, this would provide a fighter roll for people to fill

Sounds like you've missed out on a few months worth of station attacks. We do use fighters, pretty successfully on both sides.
