These are probably the most visually appealing ships in the game. Players should be able to buy these, or manufacture them. It doesn't make sense that we can make a pet out of them, but can't pilot them ourselves.

I'd rather see Stygian Furies in a new pseudo-storyline, involving some sort of mysterious and elusive alien species (presumably, the "Stygians"), whose intents and motivations are unclear. Giving the impression of "things unseen" and adding elements to the game that have no clear function or purpose can really add a sense of depth.

It was my impression that the Furies are bots. Experimental Valent prototypes with lots of biological components, yes, but bots all the same. I figure that they're not available for personal use for in-universe reasons similar to why Orun Collectors aren't.

Inc has stated he has a specific plan for furies.

I have only seen these once, when they were sometimes part of the old levi system. Along with strat these would be cool if they jumped in 3-4 and reeked havoc then just jumped out again. But if Inc has a plan, i'm sure its going to be pretty cool no matter what it is.

Yeah, i remember seeing these as hive queen escorts in gray before the named hives were introduced.

I remember fighting these back in the day while killing the static frigate. Oh and when Inc warped liek 40 of them into b8 and we fought them.

Possibilities:
-Add lots of them around rogue queens
-Creates hive convoys, furies escorting transports
-Whenever a queen move, furies preceed and escort it
-Random attacks, as small fury packs attack voys in WH sectors
-When all queens are killed, the Levi spawns a large pack of Furies to defend itself

Inc spawned 40-50 to attack us once... I hid in a trident in B-8 when they came after me (don't know if it's the same incident, Nihm) and it was in pieces within thirty seconds.

Most simple one, add a couple or two on sectors with queens, with logic to "attack anyone not hive"... Solves two problems, fixing trhe rogue queens escorts' apathy...
