I agree but, not blue... I don't recall what it is but blue already indicates something on radar. So...

+1 but some other color.

Duelists show up cyan on the radar, and your own rockets show up blue.

Did you just mean the list list of ships in your group? If thats the case, it seems a little pointless. Shielded ships are cappies and usually (IIRC) have the suffix SMV, IDF or TPG before the name... which is a pretty good indication they are cappies and there for shielded.

Are you talking about the health bar?

Color is Identification Friend/Foe (+neutral). Instead:

If group display is the list of ships/pilots in your group, instead of colors, use italics or bold.

In radar, that blob, a circle around the dots would have more meaning.

Group display with the green health bars for each ship. I would like for it to be displayed the same way it is displayed when a ship is selected.

Color is a lot quicker to identify then trying to read a list of names.

Names are not always displayed in anycase and you just get transponder numbers.

I would prefer to see both bars at the same time. To me that is what it sounds like you want when you say "I would like for it to be displayed the same way it is displayed when a ship is selected.", but the way you wrote the actual suggestion sounds more like just making the healthbar blue, so I'm not really sure which you are suggesting.
