Maybe this should be in bugs? Not sure if the devs intended for it to be this way though. (They sometimes do some weird things, especially from an OSX perspective.) Non-standard behaviour for most mac applications anyways, and just irritating. (I often have Safari open with a maxed window when I open VO for instance.)

What version of Mac OS are you running?

A similar issue happens on the Windows version as well.

I'm running 10.5.8 and this occurs when I log in too. Doesn't really bother me though.
