SubSpace Anomalies replacing Ion Storms
Thinking again three older posts, they could get connected.

Anyone who have the above mentioned plugin, AnimatedLoad, already have SEEN the subspace wormhole...
Instead of ion storm sectors, use a separated sector, tunel-shaped, limited by relativistic boundaries (the far from center, the slower you move outward). The only exit point is at coordinates (0,0,0). Entry point varies...
All ion storms elements can be there, like 4xBonus, the stalking area, fog, bots, so on. But no roids.
From gameplay, it remains the same, one ship jumps away and instead of reaching destination, it gets stuck in-between and requires flight towards "+" and another jump...

Just remove the storms and have done.

I like the storms. They are a great way for newbs to get weapons/combat xp.
At least decrease the frequency, then. Or provide an alternative way of getting combat xp.
