Hire a part-time guide who plans and runs cool weekly events

Retaining vets with novel events will pay for a part-time guide. Advertise those events on the forum and inactive vets will resubscribe.

You devs have bigger fish to fry!

I don't have the funds to hire a part-time fry cook from mcdonalds right now. But yes, I agree with your idea in principle. We are trying to get more events going in general.

Just by the by, I'm running a newly-simplified Capture The Flag event on Sunday at 7pm UTC (2pm CDT).

Which will be followed by the usual Nation War, and then a Bus War.

Maybe I'll revive my old event "Guild Wars", or if some one else wants to, they can.

Actually, despite the edit you prompted, F.B. Whistler, I'd of thought he meant exactly what he fucking said the first time.

Exactly in that line I proposed the figure of the Host: event-focused "guide".

A member of PCC who uses PCC editor to create "missions" that can be taken by any players willing to join, and is able to (re-)start/stop that script within a limited time window (event).

It only requires that dev change the mission editor to have an option to make mission "universally unique", instead of spawning a new thread as now.

Just like all players taking Levi mission are grouped...

Examples, in "NW" there could be 4 'missions', one for each team.
In "Dark Convoy Returns", one single mission gives info on when convoy is expected...
