There is a point of having the NFZ, and that is the SF.

Without it, it makes station camping, killing station guards, and killing convoys easier. Otherwise, you might as well wait until a convoy is 10m away from docking to boom it, and the cargo would practically dock itself.

I'd argue that Corvus *does* care about killing; it's just quick to forget.

Losing Corvus standing is, of course, dumber than Alloh. Getting rid of the Corvus NFZ has been proposed many, many times. For some reason, the Devs have consistently refused to implement this excellent idea.

Corvus should only launch a SF if you damage a guard inside the NFZ. Otherwise, free for all. That convoy? If you pop it at the dock and sell it at the station, so much the better for you and Corvus -- only losers are the traders, and they're all losers already.

For some reason I think this is only being suggested because pa tgft and vpr were trying to station gank the bombers and the sf was making them leave the sector. To bad so sad

No, peytros, I suggested this because it makes it difficult to have any sort of station war (Corvus is the only place to have it, as you don't lose standing). SF get very annoying.

Corvus should allow station wars. More money for them when we die and buy another ship.
