It would be pretty cool if Hive bots could attack a station "capture" it and then you have to capture it back. I'm thinking stations along the border to grey because most people spend time near/in grey. Perhaps even have the stations in grey to give it more of a dangerous feel, the only thing I have against this is I see grey as more PvP area and nation space as PvE.

No need to capture station. Just their presence in station sector, disrupting convoys and normal traffic, is more than enough to justify a urgent mission, even a call for help in /11.

Just like already happens to ConqSt, all stations (but training/capitols) should be subject to ion storms and hive attacks (or incursions).
