endercp12,
If you would notice, there's a slowing curve in the acceleration of a ship as it approaches its top speed. The SVG only has a max cruise speed of 65 m/s while the Corvult has a max cruise speed on 75 m/s, meaning that the SVG will hit the acceleration reduction curve much sooner than the CV. That should explain, for you, why the SVG seems less maneuverable than the CV.
As for the BioCom Vulture versus Serco Vulture Guardian thing... well I have no idea where you got that. :P

IMHO, the SVG needs a little buff in combat stats (not just turbo energy, though that was also needed). In my view it simply doesn't quite match the CorVult in 1v1. But that's a different thread...
what im reffering to shank... I've gotten from experience flying both. I know the curve makes it impossible for it to be quite as agile as the corvult (its only 5Nm more thrust for the svg). Im talking more about the feel, how the ship handles just...Its just not good.
That is the feel of how the ship handles, there's nothing beyond the stats. Perhaps you were equipping heavier weapons when you were using some of em.
And yeah, I agree the SVG needs a little more of a combat buff. At least 70 m/s.

I guess this is getting a little off topic... but also, the torque speed of the SVG is 56 m/s compared to the corvult's 60 m/s
Well, regardless of the solutions, I think at least one conclusion can be reached from these threads. There is a disparity in the effectiveness of equipment available to each side right now and at some point in the future, nation balance may require another look. From the RP forum:
"The only (and I do mean only) counter to being the target of focused fire is to keep distance between you and your attackers. This mechanic will not change so long as the fundamentals of combat in Vendetta remain the same. Changing the ships only makes it less apparent, but the nature of the situation remains the same."
In other words, the best asset for survival in group combat, where focused fire is common, is mobility. The Valk is the most mobile ship with strong firepower and armor, so it seems overpowered.
In a different way of looking at the situation, the reason the valk is so powerful is only because there is one clearly superior tactic in group combat and the valk is the best at it. We can either change the mechanics somehow to create other viable tactics, or we can change the ships. But something does need to be changed in the interest of balance.

Terminology nit-pick: It's rotational velocity, and then m/s is not applicable. Torque (Nm) is to rotational velocity (rad/s) what thrust (N) is to translational velocity (m/s).
Tosh, when you use those techie terms I get all goose-bumpy...
