But seriously. There's been a lot of good suggestions on how to improve this ship. I've been doing some digging, but would anyone else be willing to help consolidate some of the many Warthog TD suggestions into one thread so we might come together and hash out an update to this ship?

The difference between the two being the max speed and thrust. If these are too high then people would be unable to extricate themselves from an AGT/flare hug.

Maalik, +1, sounds logical
Though I am not sure about adding a built in Addon Scanner to WTD, because SVG will look bad without any addons at all. (remember IBG has +1(!) weapon port)

Nah, pirren, the SVG is special in that it is far better than any vulture, and the IBG is far better than any centurion.
The + weapon port for the IBG was only to balance the IBG and the SVG, as these are seen as nationalist's equals.

Gonna go ahead and guess it's how fast a ship stops. Most likely inversely related to thrust.
That's the brake thrust.
Interesting; wonder if playing with it could help differentiate certain underused light fighters.
I like the new WTD so far. Feels adequately deadly anyway. :-)

I feel it's time the UIT gave the smurfs a run for their money. WTDs combat is well balanced, but if only it could chase!

i think just lowering the drain to 57 makes much sense, the TD is an insanely awesome pvp ship now!
I think if any ship deserves a buff its the MkIV hog since its an armored variant can it have 13.5k hp with another 200kg slapped on it?
The MkIII is a better pvp ship than the Mark four and it has twice the cargo space, it has better spin torque and the fact it can boost at 55 makes it more awesome in many ways.

Spidey, the spin torque is the same according to VO wiki.
of course it's the same the wiki was updated with the changes.
Spence, the MkIV wasn't updated in the patch was it? If it was, that'd be cool.
