Yeah, I can't think of once when the devs have stated this is one of their main goals. Nice work on suggesting a manner in which the implementation could be sped up though.

I just replied to this same general subject here. Yes, it is a goal of ours. It's the "Faction Redux" I've mentioned in like 2398473928 newsletters and newsposts and things.

It will happen in the not too distant future, and there will be a lot more news about it this month.
