No enter/leave sector info in fogged sectors
In fogged sectors, like Pelatus C-12, those persons using/abusing the LUA with plugins have access to info that's neither available on radar nor accessible by sector list.

Well I hope the devs have clarvoyance because no one else has a clue what your on about Lecter....
PaKettle, Lua has functions which tell you who is in sector but out of range... which is not information that plugins should have access too. It is probably a Bug, but still.
Well, until this update it wasn't a bug: it was just a different format of the same info (mostly) you could get by looking at the sector list. Now, however, it's a genuine workaround to the whole "in fogged sectors, things out of radar range are not on your sector list" update.
For clarity, I believe Lecter is referring specifically to the PLAYER_ENTERED_SECTOR & PLAYER_LEFT_SECTOR events.

I wonder if they can just remove it. I can't imagine they put the code there just for kicks, instead, it is possibly vital piece of the bot AI... but I could be wrong.
Anyway, I agree with the OP on the fact that this piece of intel should not be readable. LUA skills should give people an edge, though... but that's just my opinion.

Are you saying that Lecter abuses game mechanics? No, that can't be right!
Only on those uber-rare occasions that I grace the game with my presence.
