You know how the Wraith got replaced with the Revenant? Well all Centaurs should become Wraiths with the same, unchanged stats (2L port 1S port Wraiths anyone?) because the Centaur is... terrible. The Axia Guardian Wraith becomes the Axia Guardian Revenant and the basic variant Centaurs + the Centaur Agresso become basic variant Wraiths +the Wraith Agresso. :D

Because Wraith>Revenant>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Centaur

(Yes, I thought of the antique Wraiths... perhaps we can name the Centaur-Wraiths Phantasms or Banshees or something...) As for the remaining Centaurs: we should remove them from the game, completely, unlike the Wraith-Revenant conversion where some antiques and new variants were kept around. That Centaur is a very ugly thing (incredibly disproportioned and unbalanced, as well).

Then again, if it were possible to simply change the models of all Centaurs directly, that would make all this much simpler.

For the people who, for some ungodly reason, don't want anyone to touch their ugly, poorly-modeled Centaurs... Come on...

I do agree the graphics on the tar are... UH.... not the best especially the rear view but Id rather see the model fixed once Guild gets around to finding a serious modeler. Then again Id first want to see a dozen new models added first....

Shank provides a great short term fix but... and don't get used to it, I agree with PaK. On the other hand, I heard a rumor that the Devs have a cache of unused ship models in various levels of completion. Perhaps one of these... (if they in fact exist.) might be a suitable replacement for the horrifically ugly Centaur.

Funny, I always thought the taur looked great from behind. That big wide <deleted by Whistler> all hangin out with those turbo engines flaring and lookin sexy.

But the Centaur at least looks like big freighter... the wraith is more like a little tugboat.

i think the taur looks fine. i kinda like it, looks a bit like the trident. It kinda makes sense to have some ships look like larger of smaller versions of each other.

I like the Centaur, and design would make sense if its weapons were placed on tip of wings. But all ships sizes in VO are crazy...

But I would prefer to release the Wraith as a normal ship. It is a really pretty model, retro-futuristic...
