Yes, giving keys to guilds has been in the design since I first wrote it last year, but we just haven't had a chance to implement all of that yet. The specific lines:

Or, as a more automated functionality, an Owner could check "grant User key to all active members of my guild", then the keys would be automatically granted and revoked as new people joined or left the given guild. Similarly, an Owner could check "grant User key to all members of my buddy list" and the same behaviour would apply.

There's also stuff in there about granting Owner keys to guild leadership and blah blah.
