Neutrinos are actually very odd particles. Despite having a rest mass they still manage to overtake the (probably) massless photons by several hours when a supernova happens. Astronomers are using neutrino detectors to work out where to point telescopes to see supernovae.

Even if it did very little damage, or did no damage at all, i'd enjoy it just for the stealth/research RP aspects. We don't have much that doesn't do anything at all, yet.

Besides, it'd bring a new role to combat if it was implemented so that you could, very slowly, damage an enemy ship and mess up missiles from far away, using stealth techniques.

Also, it fires like a laser :)
