Does it for me. The 70/280 ability to suddenly run up into the face of many light fighters while sporting flares and AGT is what was bugging the shit out of me. Don't get me wrong, I hate light fighters and would happily use your orginal suggestion like a Prom-Hog. But it doesn't make much sense.

If annoyance factor was the limiting issue, we'd all fight in SCPs with their backwards rate of acceleration cut by 3/4s.

peytros (like other people) just can't cope with the fact that non-consensual PvP can be avoided. This is not an ad hominem attack, this is the truth. I for my part don't like people who force PvP on me, hence I try to avoid it from time to time.

It wasn't non consensual PvP, it was one opportunistic jerkoff dipping in for a quick kill and running when players fought back, over and over and over again. It's a valid tactic, but it's bad form.

I like maals stats, I think my main problem with any more hog buffs is that they don't go far enough to differentiate. Why does the UIT need their own version of the greyhound? Why not something completely different?

ahem tosh i was not talking about avoiding consensual pvp i was taking about it being much harder too escape from. at least valks have drain and can't turbo and shoot for infinity. I don't see where in my post it made it seem like i was complaining about avoiding consensual pvp it was more about leaving consensual pvp if anything.

To be honest, I'm more impressed with Maalik's buff than my own.

Really, I've come to the realization that if I just create a thread that says X needs to be buffed/nerfed, we'll come to agreement that it does, but ultimately fail to come up with any ideas as how to rectify that. However, if I post alternative stats, no matter how good or bloody stupid they are, someone will post what *they* want. More progress gets made that way.

That said, it'd be nice for Maalik's combat TD to see some field-testing to get the bugs worked out. Still, it looks good on paper, anyway.
