I forgot to say before: No, Strat, I don't think that some kind of automated repair system would, itself, be adequate compensation for having turrets respawn at very low health.

Resistance37: It would take some work to find the right balance of armor, maneuverability and AI for the repair bots. That a fighter dedicated to the task of bot removal and unchecked by defenders would have an easy time of it is very much the point, however.
