Getting POS with Corvus is no small task. OTOH, limiting them to Odia was always part of the balance plan.
I could go either way on this one.

How does it balance? If someone wants a Greyhound, and is already near Corvus space (IE Grey), they're going to go get one. Might as well make it slightly more convenient... I don't know who it helps to make you waste time on a trip.
I think if we had more greyhounds on closets pirates would more effectively determine where the candies are.
Good point, let's expand.
Yes, please.
I don't really get how limiting them to Odia does a whole hell of a lot for balance either.
I vote for simply making them available at all Corvus stations, regardless of whether you're POS or not.

corvus POS and three nations KOS for now, or unaligned or corvus faction only when available!
: p
who says more?
bleed well : )
PS : and special future pirate station all right reserved to sell it to whoever they like regardless standing or levels : p
PPS : in fact ye'll need also to sacrifice a pony in order to get one

I'd really like to see you have to be KOS with at least two nations to get one. Three might be a bit much.
That I would have no problem with; actually fully support. Honestly, I think POS should be something non-existant for Corvus anyway. Worrying about standing isn't something they're obviously concerned about.
Corvus POS should be shorthand for "Native KOS". And yes, the Greyhound should not be purchasable by anyone who is allowed to dock by their native faction, at least. Requiring 2 nation KOS would be even better. 3 is probably a bit much, though, as I think it's legit for Corvus to sell them to nationalist privateers and the like who operate in Corvus space and routinely bring goods to Corvus stations just like any other pirate.
I like the "native KOS" requirement. Devs, how tricky would that be to implement? It's a little silly that we have traders using Greyhounds to get around quickly.
The PCC mission editor can handle that kind of requirement for offering missions, so my guess is that it wouldn't really be too hard at all.
Ideally Corvults and Cormauds should have the same restriction, but it's most important for hounds.

Maybe they could make SVGs, IBGs, Proms, and Valks require KOS standing with the opposite nation while they're at it.
No. Not KoS. If someone really is loved by one nation I don't think they would care if that person is just disliked, hated, or KoS.
No. -600 is too easy to flip to -599. KOS it is.
Making a system (Odia in this case) be significantly different from the rest of monotonous space is more important to me than having slightly easier access to the Greyhound.

I must say, I agree with you there.
