I have a PCC mission that is fully developed. I am looking for some diverse points of feedback on it. The test thread can be found here:

Here is the skinny.
For 5.6M credits, the player can rent a trident. Tridents are available in GRO4, the Eo barracks, UIT capitals in Dau, and Corvus prime. If the player returns the trident to the station they bought it, they get 5M back as collateral. The net rental fee is therefore 600K.
The trident shows up at the station where you rent it, and will respond to a set of commands indefinitely until it is destroyed or returned.
The first command is "proceed on course". There are only 4 "courses" or routes that the tridents are pre-set with. For a serco national, the course is from GR to Itan. For an Itani, the course is from Eo to Sol. For a UIT national, the course is from Dau to Odia. For someone who likes Corvus, the route goes to Dau.
Other commands are, "follow me", "return home", "park", "defend me" and "attack anyone I hate".
There are various obvious uses for this rental, among which are its use a staging point for attacks behind enemy lines (allowing for R/R).
I did a couple of tests with it from GR to Eo. The thing gets through a turret field without getting (EDIT: completely...the shields were taken down) fried, but it can be a gamble. It took some effort with a rep gun in an empty eo sector to repair the thing.
Thoughts? Preferred routes? Preferred cost? I considered making the Corvus route go from Bractus to Nyrius instead, which would keep Dau a little more protected, but still give pirates a fun way to raise hell.

Bractus to Nyrius is a better bet; taking a hated trident through Dau would ensure its death.
Overall, sounds neat.

I'm always slightly bemused how you're always going on about how Grey is dangerous, but spend most of your time in the heart of Goldspace, Lecter. Eh, not my problem, I guess.
I hunt where the prey is. Besides, I try to spend at least some time each session in some or all of Ukari, Latos, Sedina, Odia, Bractus, Pelatus, Edras. Never know what you'll find :D
But your point is a good one, and just another reason the UnRats need to be brought back and given Greyhounds.

Make a route from everywhere that goes to the conquerable station. And devs get this mission in game ASAP!
You can take it anywhere you want with the "follow me" command.
The pre-set route just allows the ship to be first through the wormhole, or allow you to ride as a passenger into dangerous places.
EDIT: I found that the tridents takes all aggression from defense structures that hate you.
Perhaps it would be better to eliminate the pre-set routes, thereby forcing the player to risk some aggression by being the first to enter the defended sectors like worm-holes and stations. But I did not test if the aggression transfers to the trident if it enters the sector 2nd... I'll have to test it out.

impressive
Impressive, and begs the question as to why the Devs didn't do this years ago.
Cool as this is, I'm not sure allowing everybody a pet trident is such a good idea, actually.
Because . . .
Because it makes it easier to pirate in dau.....And that is a problem.
Have you ever tried to ride into Dau on a cappie when you're UIT KOS, genius? How do you think we pirates take down most of our connies :P
More importantly, the caps in convoys make it easier to pass through all space in total safety no matter your ship or cargo. And that is a much bigger problem. Until it's fixed, this would actually balance things out more.

You should put some valuable cargo in the pet Tridents (although not worth more than 5 mill) to give us pirates a reason to go shooting 'em!
Dude, making some [DELETED BY WHISTLER]sucking trader douchebag lose 5,000,000 credits is reason enough.
Is it possible to add "Attack who I am targeting"? Because then it would be truly awesome. Not that it isn't already awesome (sounding anyway, haven't tried it).
The "Attack anyone whom I hate" is theoretically awesome, but unfortunately, in my case anyway, would attack pretty much everyone I don't hate, and a large portion of those I do actually hate would be perfectly safe (broken faction system ftw).
Also:
Edit: Nm, your edit negates my point.

Thanks for the comments so far.
Snax_28:
I don't know how to implement that suggestion within the confines of the mission editor. But it might be possible... I definitely agree it would make the capabilities of the tri better. Maybe the PCC shamans will shine forth with an awesome workaround.
Shank:
Being able to load the tri's would also be cool, but again, I don't personally know how to do that, and I don't think it could be done via the PCC mission construct right now. One alternative is for a group to all jump in a tri with their XC's.

One other thing to mention is that POS is required at the rental station; and combat 12/trade 8.
I was hoping that using the tri's would be a cool activity to for vets to bring newer players in on; and give newer players something to look forward to at later stages.

pos combat 12 and trade 8? i think that is a little bit high maybe make it admired 800+ combat 8 and trade 6
I think that's almost too low. I think it should be 800+, combat 10, trade 6.
If it's a rental, I don't get why POS should be required. Maybe standing could determine the deposit required (although I would imagine that sort of dynamic mechanic would be difficult to implement).
