It would be nice if the rock icon on your mini map would change too a differnt color if scanned.

Another suggestion would be too be able too add a visual marker that you could put down at any location and have mutiple of them.

I know this feature would be better as a built-in sort of thing, but I believe TargetLS (http://www.vendetta-online.com/x/msgboard/9/17440) does this for you, but I may be wrong. Haven't used it.

TargetLS lets you target roids via a side menu similar to how it lets you target people and ships. hit '-' to cycle through the modes, the mining one should be the second mode.
