I propose that each Ship/Weapon of type be sorted into a further Subcategory to allow for easier browsing/buying/comparing. They would be as follows:

That pretty much sums it up. Any changes that you think should be made, please let it be known.

This would basically make browsing all the addons/ships easier depending on what you were looking for and comparing similar items/ships by category. Also many items get out of order when searching for specifics.

Hmm... why not allow for multiple ways of sorting the stuff? Yours looks pretty good to me, but if there are die-hard nostalgics, they might prefer the 'old' view. I say diversity.

Of course I can imagine that this would not take a high priority.

Just one thing: Why are rails in the missile category?

But otherwise, yes some option for different organizations would be nice.

This would be nice, yeah. But you'd definitely need the ability, as toshiro says, to toggle between new/classic/others. Very nice idea.

Something closer to "clickable column headers" would provide all flexibility we want. And those categories can be a column of one letter or symbol.

Quite simple, web-like, and efficient. You can classify with one click per name, type/group, price and availability for player.

Of course, this was intended as a low priority.

Spedy: Well, I didn't *really* want to make a separate category for the rails, because that'd be a bit of a waste of space.

Alloh: Yes, well that's what I intended them to be, headers, much like the Ship, and Buy tabs.
