Getting a bit tired of having to let go of the stick and pick up the mouse every time I want to go somewhere so I thought it's easy enough to to toggle the nav screen with a button on my stick what if there could be a highlight cursor on the sector map and 4 keys like the arrow keys or what ever could move the highlight up down left and right with a 5th key acting as a mouse click to select the highlighted square. That way we could assign those commands to a hat switch and plot a course with out having to pick up the mouse. :)

I believe there are several plugins that let you do this. Look around the community project forums and wiki a bit..
I use one that goes like this, into chat:
/jump Sedina B-8
or whatever sector you want..

You can manually input a navroute. I think it's /navroute Sedina B-8 for example. You can also create and then save a navroute using /navroute save [name] and /navroute load [name]

it's actually /navroute add Sedina B-8

also /navroute clear

i have stuff bound to ! @ # $ and so forth
