Addon suggestion: forward scanner
The forward scanner would improve radar sensitivity in front of the ship, say... inside a 30 degree cone. The scanner could see through asteroids (possibly with limitations regarding thickness and composition) and target ships at much longer distances than standard radar.
Okay. Why?
The sector list is going to be changed so as to not show people your radar can't see. There are a variety of reasons for wanting to know if somebody's hiding behind a roid or just out of scanner range.
