I have two computers on my desk. My laptop, which is an intel card and doesn't do VO justice, and my server (where I play VO)

I'm constently bouncing between the inventory, sector price, badge screens, etc.

It would be nice to be able to query most of the PDA information in this website. Then I can monitor on one screen, and play on another.

I think the Devs should make VO a flash based browser game.

I want it to be javascript, not flash. Flash is so mainstream.

Should totally make VO a completely text-based game, in the same vein as nethack etc. I think that would do vendetta a lot of good, eh?

Oh, by the way, if you have graphical environment running on your server (which is presumably the case, since you're playing graphical games on it), you are a dumbass and you are Doing It Wrong (TM); I am hereby revoking your privilege to a) use computers and b) use the word server.

Why not just make it so you can setup a mining routine or botting routine so you can log off and your toon will do the planned mining/botting routine. Better yet have it run trade routes too.

That way you would not have to do all of that stuff yourself.

Or like the Battlestar game from bsd-games, where you can actually hijack a Viper and fly out into space. It draws a 3x3 grid in ascii art showing you what's in front of you, and you can give commands to turn or shoot.
