deployable remote cameras and other deployable devices

It would be nice if one could deploy devices in various places and then be able to use them in particular ways. Maybe it could be a first step and test of player owned structures.

Examples:
- deploy a video camera on an asteroid and see the feed on your hud.
- deploy a mini-radar (sensor) on the "other" side of an asteroid so you see what's happening (radar-wise) on the other side of the asteroid.
- deploy a mining robot on an asteroid and come pick it up hours later, when it's "full"
- deploy a message beacon in space and have it broadcast a message whenever someone is closer than x meters from it
- deploy a gun/turret/launcher on an asteroid or structure and man it remotely or set it on auto-fire (coupled with a sensor and a power-source maybe) by using particular orders (attack hated only, attack all, attack bots, etc)
Obviously, all of them should have shields to a certain degree (like invulnerable for any one gun used alone) but be destroyable.

As i list them, I realize these remind me of how the game Tribes was built. And speaking of Tribes, that's how Vendetta would look when we'll be able to land on planets.

Good ideas. Make them timed, or else don't bother.

Now how the hell is that obvious? Common sense dictates that these deployable devices would be very easily destroyable - on the level of a collector bot.
