I don't know what the cost vs. production value of this suggestion is, but here's a simple idea. The backstory is a true treasure of VO. The thing is also 12 sections of 4+ Word pages each. Have it so that when one clicks on "Backstory" it takes you to the page at which you left, so one may continue reading. It would help us PCC folks.

Of course it would be cool, but I think the devs have better things to do with their time than menial web development chores. Just save the entire thing to a local text file or something. If you get really fancy you could do it all with a one-liner in curl.

I should have been more specific in my suggestion. I often play VO from different computer terminals, and by "play" I mean both gaming and meta-gaming. The website is part of VO's meta-game, which can be easily accessed from any web capable device with a decent browser. The backstory is a window into the setting of the server, and provides a spark for creativity. It's probably the biggest thing that gets me thinking about writing and designing missions, however it's a long read. When I log in to the website I want the backstory to take me right back to where I left off. I don't have time to write code or download 12 web pages as text every time I switch terminals.

If I read a 50 page novel I'm probably going to use a book mark, or at least dog ear the pages. I think the same feature for the backstory would help the game, not just for the PCC but for any player who wants to get into the game universe.
