Gentu-Class HAC
This topic came up today as several of us reminisced about the old [NPC] Gentu.
We were thinking that as a tribute to the original Frigate (HAC) we'd suggest creating a command ship for each faction that is a Gentu-class ship.
These vessels militarily would not change much, as each faction gets only 1, but could be a nice throwback, and could give way to major upgrades to the class as Dynamic Warfare is expanded (thus adding variants to Capital-class ships).
Ex: SMV Nemesis would become the "SMV Nemesis, Gentu-class", and would sport the original Gatling-Cannons the Gentu really had.
As above, later on these ships could become upgraded Anti-Fighter platforms as the game evolves.

I think we need more shields on everything, at least 500% shields so you can, for instance, only kill orun with a fully loaded missile rag and capship with at least 200 missile rags (all 1.000000000 missiles must be perfectly stacked to hit at the same moment, of course).
Wait, why waste time & resources on other ships and weapons?
I propose we remove all ships and weapons from VO except capships, rags and missiles.

Ugh, someone else who pronounces Ubuntu with an excess N :/ I have a friend who does this, even after having http://www.ubuntu.com/aboutus/faq pointed out to him, so it's a bit of a sore point with me :)
To save the curious a click, the FAQ linked above says, "Ubuntu, an African word from Zulu and Xhosa, is pronounced 'oo-BOON-too'."
