Inter-guild Communication Channels
Inter-guild communication channels is basically two or more guilds create a new/temporary guild chat channel that links all cooperating guilds but still keeps their main guild chat channel separate from the inter-guild channel.
For guilds to open this type of channel would require the commander/lieutenant/councilor to accept an inter-guild chat invite.
This basically would function like group chat channels in the sense of a group leader (being the guild that initiated the inter-guild channel) starts the group and invites different players (guilds) to the group. They can leave whenever they wish but with no kick feature.
Criticisms?

Sounds good.
It doesn't sound bad but couldn't the two guilds just jump to a random channel? Like with TGFT and 444 or VPR with 3547?
Why no kick option? If I invited TGFT to a chat I'd definitely want to kick them immediately.
Why would you invite them then?
Cause if you invite an entire guild, you can have them all pay you at once thus eliminating the need to hunt them down and do the whole "stop and give XXXX money or die" a whle bunch of times.
Any ways, the chat tab bar could use a few more tabs like nation chat. maybe there could be a general guild chat usable by all guilds, with X amount of "empty chat rooms" that would lock after two guilds were using it?

I really like this idea. I think it would be great for inter-guild communications and diplomacy. Discussing disputes would be great and co-ordination between guilds made much easier.
You'd invite them just so you could kick them, duh.
Sure... diplomatic channel... but ch 100 will have to go then.
For the sake of immersion ch 100 is really redundant and the best option would be to have just nation channels and diplomatic channel.
Of course we can just change ch 100s name to diplomatic channel.
There, all solved, move along.

Not yet.
Ohh but of course, didn't think about that.
You sir, are a gentleman and a scholar.

Someone wrote a plugin to do this once.
or better yet, have to pay a fee to privatize a channel that would be withdrawn from your account per hour. Person who "owns it" can assign moderator spots each for a price too. Nice way to direct some money out of pockets...
