I have just hit Trade 10, when I am still Mining 9.

However, I am much more a miner than a trader -- I estimate that I spend 3 or 4 times more time mining (and selling what I mine) than purely trading.

Maybe some adjustment should be made to these two xp rates to better reflect the player's activity? What do other players think?

Everytime you sell something, you get trade XP. So even when you just mine, when you sell it at the station, you get trade XP. Plus all those times you sell stuff from your ship, or do a trade mission.

You can equalise it by strip mining.....

Strip mining... is that like strip poker?
