toshiro: Dark orbit and another one, Starport GE. The main difference between the two was the frequency of the trolls in uberships.... Starport had/has slightly less. I loathe both games after my time playing them..

VO is fine the way it is, although I think seeing coca cola adverts on the floating neon signs would be pretty funny.

I would gladly and happily pay an extra onetime fee, say $10, for the ability to skin a ship with a unique look.

But, the look would definately have to be unique, I want MY own ship even if there aren't any usable upgrades. Hell, I'd fly a much worse ship then my license allows me to get, just to have one truely MINE. Also, that would add more pilot attachment to their ships. If I'm flying my unique awesome for-looks ship, on say, courier missions or something, I'll be a LOT more careful not to get jumped. What's more, if another player jumps me, I have much more incentive to get stronger and pay him back in kind. A true... vendetta.

Also, and sorry I forgot this in the last post, I would pay $100 for my own space station for me and my friends (or Guild). Even if it was just a simple clone of existing ones, as long as it's KOS to everybody not in my guild/friendlist/nonkoslist, I'd love to have it. Even non-player-controlled.

I think paying for certain things that DONT give the person any more power or sidestep any content is GOOD. If it doesn't affect balance, and helps us enjoy the game more, take the money!

I would consider a one time fee for the ability to make my ship "pretty," and maybe screwball items like a tag gun. I do not approve of paying for stations and personal space. I like the idea of buying a station, but not with real life funds that will ruin the game.

* I would pay definitely for custom painting on ships.
* I would also pay money for extra resources, which are actually not useful in combat
* I would gladly (and with a smile) pay extra cash for developing features which are polled on forums and of course agreed by devs.
* I wouldn't mind advertisements in game, in style of banners in front of the stations.

Just keep it fair and running!

Hehe - if the banners were click-able and Guild sold them to dominos pizza ect LOL
