Yoda has been a loyal VO supporter from aplha days till now.
Over the years he has become a VO icon of a sort.
He constantly provides entertainment for the whole community with his pranks, guilds & actions but he also helps and trains new players more then any of us.
He was never a Serco in his heart and if anyone deserves to become "Unaligned" before New Faction system is in place, its him.

Besides, as he is now a proud member of SKV, it would look better on our guild page.:P

And Whistler, fail on locking the other thread. We are on this forum, not some obscure website that has VO as its interest but which I for one am uninterested in. It was a suggestion (tongue-in-cheek, but a suggestion).
I know you are here to ensure that threads are within reasonable limits, but please do not ask us to take our suggestions and in-game aspects to others as long as we are not committing something against the EULA or the forum intro text. We pay for VO, not for access to some obscure fan-webpage.

I whole heartedly agree with Bojan about Yoda. Think the Dev's should show him some do consideration. He has always played as unaligned any way.

Just to be clear, that other thread I started was meant to be a joke and nothing more. Perhaps people didn't find it funny, but regardless, it was not meant to be taken seriously or to hurt anyone. I thought that was clear, but it may have been too subtle. I suppose that I was depending on my roughly 3 years as a friendly member of the VO community to kind of set the context of the thread... With all the serious negativity and hate that gets thrown around here, I really didn't think that a tongue-in-cheek spoof suggestion would be considered "over the line". I don't see why one git should get special attention over any other.

1) It's not in the mechanics, but they could do it just like they did for mom
2) Why did Whistler, RelayeR, etc, get "special attention" when they were picked as guides? Yoda has shown his commitment to the game, and could provide valuable feedback. Don't look at it as giving him some special reward, look at it as yoda helping the devs out by testing the system (as you know he would, and carefully!).

I could name on one hand a list of players who could be trusted to help out the devs like this, and yoda is definitely on that list.
