RFC - minimum launch speed

Default speed when you first log in is 0 so the first launch you sometimes get rear ended.

Could the minimum launch speed be created and set to at least 20?

Won't the launch behind you also be moving at the same minimum launch speed?

Yes, but at a non-0 launch speed, you're only going to get rear-ended if somebody behind you accelerates. At a 0 launch speed, you get rear-ended every time somebody else undocks.

Sounds reasonable to me.

The problem is only present if you are in flight-assist mode when you undock for the first time after starting the client.

This has not always been the case; it would be awesome if the client somehow could remember what the FA throttle was set at when the user last logged off/quit again like it used to.

if it remembered the throttle setting between sessions that would be great too.

yes... but unless you undock at precisely the same time, two ships moving at the same speed won't bump each other. I know you didn't have to take physics in college, but seriously, google it if you don't know.

Also, approved!
