Can we have the fonts changed slightly, since some clever troll has figured an i and an l looks the same and has been shuffling names for a hour now with anyone with an i, he started with Ostan-Be Ralel and now me. IRC fonts make it obvious though so it didnt matter to much.

[EDIT] could the name checker when you create the name look at the same and see if anything close to it exsists instead of it exactly, unless you are on the same account as the other name then it allows it. For example I have Breazle and Breaz that should be allowed on the same account but if i hadnt already made Breaz and someone else tried it wouldnt allow it. Just a thought

A name checker? Are you serious? Just to avoid having a font where an "i" looks like an "i", a one looks like a one, and an "l" looks like an "l"? what about letter O and the number 0?

What is so hard about fixing a font to make it readable? It has been done before. There are fonts out there for free.

Is there something special about the font we have now?

Is it really easier to build a name checker than it is to fix the font?
