Axia Pony (Incarnate said I could have a pony!)

This is only half-serious... but it actually might make for a decent ship. This Centaur loses a bit of armor, cargo space and its small port, in exchange for less mass and more speed. Typical heavy tactics won't work as well with this, but it's the perfect platform for a pair of megaposis.

Centaur platform.

Armor: 13000
Cargo: 40
Weapons: 2L
Mass: 13000kg
Length: 16m
Thrust: 500N
Max Speed: 70m/s
Spin Torque: 15Nm
Turbo Speed: 210m/s
Turbo Energy: 55/s

I don't think a heavy ship should ever go 70m/s other then that looks good

Basically a Tung Taur with one less port, lower mass, higher turbo and non-turbo speeds.

Aggresso Elite Tunguska 960 3/1/5/5/- 17500 50 1S, 2L 15000 kg 18 m 500 N 65 m/s 15.0 Nm 200 m/s 55/s

/me shrugs

Would give Ecka something new to play with I guess.

Also a lot less armor. I'm not sure if this ship has much merit - I probably wouldn't use it often, but it would be interesting to see how it worked. It might need more spin torque to be effective with dual-megaposi.

I actually like the idea of a nimble Warthog with dual-megaposi, but I'm sure such a ship would be used with AGT/Jackhammer most of the time and would likely be overpowered in that configuration. There is currently no means of preventing that, though Incarnate has suggested it might be possible to impose such limitations in the future.

Yeah, don't get me started on that one. Suffice to say that the very first restricted port ship should be a Greyhound with the following locked in configuration:

*Dual inline Mega Posi blasters
*UC battery

Now THAT would be an energy chaser!

I'd use it.

UC battery
Because most rats have 40 mentor points... lol.

And back to the topic at hand... I'm not sure who would use this. Though with more spin torque... yah, it might be interesting. It would be very interesting to go up against this ship in a light, as it would be able to keep up with the light's turning a lot more (not completely of course, but still far more than the normal taurs). Without more spin-torque, I don't entirely see the advantage of putting dual-megaposis on a ship as big as a taur. Then again, I've never been much of a heavy ship guy, so damned if I know.
