Repair credit
When you complete a mission successfully you should earn a repair credit at the station issuing the mission.
I thought about this because i was killing the hive and after the mission it paid me 30k but my repairs were 50k.
A reward like "You have earned X credits and a free repair" would be cool.
We already have free repairs in capships during BS and hive missions with tridents why not a repair credit after winning!

only giving you 30k when you need 50k in repairs is the game's way of charging a stupid tax. drive a cheaper ship.
I agree with Roda, HS is not where you make money. If you are taking that much damage on HS missions, go back to the advanced hive combat missions until you don't get hit as much.
Or, do an escort missions before an HS mission, that way you have the money to repair the ship.

I think it should just repair you when you finish the mission.
On the contrary, Hive Skirmish is a not unimportant part of territory control in VO. The Hive poses a threat to factions, and I'd expect them to field adequate forces to deal with threats. This assumption is based on the facts that you see capital ships in HS. So it would make sense that they honor your commitment to a cause by using ships with higher efficiency potential (a.k.a. the expensive ones).
I'm with CrazySpence on this. Give a repair slip, but make it bound to the ship you're in, so that it cannot be transferred, kind of a 0cu widget that cannot be jettisoned.

Or you could just tack it onto the end of the mission, give a choice like "Do you want to come back in to repair, or are you moving on?" and a couple buttons. That way it's completely non-transferrable, and most people damaged enough to need it would be heading back to that station anyway, so it wouldn't be hard. I like this idea. Paying a station for the privilege of taking care of its Hive problems seems a bit much.
hs pays what it pays, because it will buy what is needed. anyone in a vult can go do hs, and it isn't xx problem if you choose to do it in a greyhound. 50k in repairs is outrageous for a hs mission. and i don't blame xx for not paying for it. you have expensive taste? foot your own bill. next you will want xx to pay your repair bill because you did the mission in a 160k moth.
Do a few crit HS missions in a vult and we'll talk, Roda.
I normally do crit hs in a rag. thank you. crit pays pretty good, and a rag has at least some cargo space for loot. a lot of those weapons floating around fetch a pretty penny, and a basic rag with hx and stingers is dirt cheap.
You are not counting the pay per kill, or the loot.
I would like to see the pay per kill doubled in grey.

But you do missions to earn money, as well. Repair bills could be paid up to a certain limit (say, 20-30k), after that, it's your own responsibility. It's how a lot of companies I know (and some that I worked for) do it, and it doesn't seem too bad a system for both sides.
Most real companies pay based on results, and the have no concern for your cost. Pay should be based on kills, not missions. Increase the pay per kill, decrease the mission payout. If no one can make money on a pay per kill bases, then the pay should be adjusted. If you can not make money on a pay per kill bases, where others can, you should practice more. We can make the system self adjusting. The missions can start with a low pay per kill, but the longer they sit untouched, the higher the rate becomes, until someone takes the mission. The mission can state the currently offered rate, so players can decide when it has become profitable to do it.
As usual, Roda's analogy sucks. This is VO, not venture capital.
Repairing a SVG with major damage costs around 35,000 credits. Amusingly, the payout at the end of a critical HS is only 30,000. While I'm all for the new credit sinks and less stupidly high-paying trade/escort missions, it seems to me that the Serco Dominion should be paying me enough to repair my ship at the end of the mission. They're already happy to repair me for free during the mission in the cap ship; having that carry over is hardly a big deal.
