Hidden stations/outposts in grey space
We need them, full stop.
Real pirates need a hideout. A place where only pirates can enter and home.
Corvus is a regular faction, positions of all its stations in the universe is a common knowledge.
You know you can find known pirates homed at Corvus stations.
How about, for the sake of better immersion, NOT?
A few pirate (unaligned) hidden outposts scattered thru grey would bring a completely new dimension to the game.
Make special pirate ships and weapons available only there.
Prerequisite for finding/entering hidden sectors/outposts: all nations KOS status.
Means to finding hidden outposts: special mission at Corvus stations.

Ok, but short of some magical gameplay mechanic whereas someone with 3 nation KOS can enter a sector when others can't, how would you suggest these entities remain hidden once everyone's pirate alts know their location?
I like the idea, just not clear on how it would be implemented.

I think cappies will fill this void soon(tm). Though I do believe that you should be able to drop off cargo in a player/guild-owned cappy (of course, it would slow that cappy down to some proportional extent). Might also be possible to home in a cappy, as long as you've brought some ships there before-hand.
I would hate for there to be real hiding spots that weren't at least somewhat known.
Chasing a rat through grey when he could go ANYWHERE would make such a chase impossible.
I strongly disapprove of this idea in its current form, though if this idea were implemented with cappy's I'm all for it.

I agree Bojan, Full stop!
@Gavan
Entrance to hidden station wh sector changes at random.
Only way to get to its present location is to send a personal msg to stationary unaligned bot stationed somewhere in grey. If your standing matches, you get most recent coordinates to entrance wh to hidden station.
Viper on his pirate alt can find a station once but finding it once he is on his Viper main is not going to happen. :P

Generally agree with Bojan, though I think player owned cap ships could help with this a lot.
Overall, we need some new, interesting pirate stuff in Grey. Couldn't really care less about how it happens.

I still support the notion of copy-pasting the old s10 hidden station into Gray space. :-)
I miss the hidden sectors. especially the one that led to 18 that the first time you tried to find it you had to line up the two roids with the holes in them and then turbo out. that kind of puzzle work was fun.
Agrees with Bojan.
Hmm...would roving, Corvus-aligned capships work?
