I'm not saying it doesn't work in that role, I'm saying it fills two roles too well.

I don't follow your logic that closely. It isn't too unbalancing since it has one gun (and it would be nice to have a somewhat-useful one-gun ship or so flying around). It chases, yes, and can be an annoyance to someone trying to run, but in reality it is just good at closing distance a little better than other things, and can prevent someone from attacking a convoy once it gets there. once the target turns to shoot, the low armor of the ship makes it pretty darned vulnerable.

Except its more nerfed than the super, and it doesn't take fracking forever to build.
