Naming ships
I apologize if this is an old suggestion. I searched the Suggestions forum and didn't find it anywhere. If it is an old suggestion mentioned in another thread please email me (oddjobbob@gmail.com) and I will delete this post and append that thread.
Also, being new, it may be this is something that exists that I haven't found. If so let me know so I can put that to use and delete this thread as a suggestion.
I want to be able to name my ship(s). In my rl I am a mariner and love sailing. Part of sailing to any boat-owner is the affinity one feels for one's vessel. Whether it is an 8-foot dinghy or 100-ft yacht. Part of that affinity comes from the vessel's name.
Being able to name our ships will give a little more "buy-in" into the game. People will think about their ship by name even when they are not playing. They will wonder how she is doing sitting in the docking bay in Itan. Never mind that the docking bay disappeared as soon as the person quit. Never mind that the ship disappears in the bay as soon as they dock.
Personalize the game and people will take ownership even though they are paying for the ownership.

oddjobbob, you should learn how to use the search function, or use google to search http://www.vendetta-online.com. You'll most definitely find the stuff you're looking for, if it exists; I know I do.
As for the search function, there is a description as to how it works below the search input field. It usually serves me well.
