I've always liked to be on a capital ship, while it goes down a lot harder then me flying around like an idiot trying to hit at least something.

The only thing is, after I shot a salvo of rockets from a frigate. I first have to leave the turret and then remount it, before I can fire another salvo (I must say, I can fire about 1 shot every 2 seconds which isn't to bad).

It could be I'm just doing something wrong, and there is also a 'reload' button or something like that. But if I'm correct, the turret should reload within a few seconds (I'm not an expert in this game so I have no idea how long it should take). Or there should indeed be a reload button to make it ready to fire.

The capships have an actual reload rate of between 30 and 45 seconds. What you are experiencing is a bug.
