This is a very old part of VO and it could use a minor tweak to make it reasonably competitive again.

To maintain your score you must duel at-least once a week. if you do not duel within at-least 7 days 20% of your score drops

To remain on the ladder at all you must duel once within a month otherwise you drop off and your duel score resets to default

this will keep ancient players from holding up the list and make dueling a meaningful sport again

We already drop people from the list after 3 months or something. I don't feel that that's very "ancient". Hence why Ghost and others don't appear.

Rather than dropping people after a very short period of time, I would prefer to introduce some sort of "championship title" that goes from person to person every month (if new people win, but always must be contested). Like.. boxing or something. This has been rattling around in my brain for some time, like everything else, but I'm not sure exactly when we'll be able to dedicate development resources to it.
