Radar Extenders and groups
If anyone in the group can "see" a vessel/asteroid/etc on their own radar, the other group members should at least have some indication the object is there, distance, and vector-to etc.
It would simulate a "group-link" radar system, which would make a group, in an ion storm, a good thing to have, since you'd have a bit more radar coverage.
A pair (or three) of pirates, one with an extender, one in an interceptor (and one in a heavy moth?) lone trader in a moth happens in? radar extender finds him, interceptor takes him out, moth grabs the cargo.
Would be useful to more than just pirates, obviously..

Yeah, I suggested this as well. I'm very much in favour of such features. Combined weapons, as it were, should gain more importance to encourage group efforts.
I agree.
The game, as it is, doesn't place much emphasis on teamwork. Heck, look at the Nation War! Everyone plans, but afterwards does their own thing. On the other hand, giving everyone in a group a task would be hard. (Healing, for example, would be an utter nightmare. Have you ever tried aiming repair guns?) But yes, an AWACS function would help.

+1 vote from me. Let add more teamplay to the game!
