After reading Alekseys comment on BS i remembered how much fun those capship battles in Sedina were.

Relayer and Obsidian did a great job and spawned them often a few years ago.
Everyone enjoyed those fights and there were less complaints about lack of content.

So, lets turn those battles into a regular VO daily/weekly event (content).

I read about it in the other topic. Sounds great! Those bs's are idd kinda boring. But a.t.m. best to get to the bigger battles.

But this sounds so much better. Not a small boring fight, but a long travel, escorting the capship(s) and after that a cool battle (hopefully with other real-players in stead of bots only like on bs).

I'm for this idea, but maybe in a different sector that isn't a wormhole, especially if trade in greyspace is supposed to increase.

I don't think there will be anyone against the idea, it's just the question of having active guides around.

Which leads us to an old topic of adding more guides...

Of course i love this idea, since i started the first cap sip battles years ago. Just like before the timing depends on having a guide online. they should still have any easy script to run though that will give everyone time to find their capships and get ready before they jump into vo. If i see a guide i;ll ask them about this directly and you should do the same.

True Jes, you did organize those battles before, i remember it now.

As I said it was great fun for all nations (and pirates) and we really should bring them back.

Put them in a nearby sector but not B8... it's bad enough that the CTC bots harass everyone in the sector, we don't need capships sitting there for hours and hours on end doing the same thing.

it would be like the old battles when the war was over the cap ships would be destroyed. and b8 would go back to normal :)
